The Medical Care Team

 Dr. Wilde is a caring husband and dad of five children. He loves helping people in the Sierra Vista community.

He leads a team of healthcare professionals who care for patients of all ages. His clinic offers a range of services, including nutrition assistance and Chronic Care Management.

Dr. Wilde also enjoys teaching new doctors and healthcare workers. He plans to keep serving the community for many years.

James does many things! He is a husband and proud dad of four lively boys. Not only does he work with us as a healthcare provider in family medicine, but he also has training in emergency medicine, so that he can help with a wide range of health problems. 

He has over 12 years of nursing experience in different places, like hospitals, heart care, diabetes care, and emergency rooms. James graduated from Grand Canyon University and is trained to care for patients of all ages.

Micheal grew up in Sierra Vista and graduated from Buena High School in 2010. He was even born at Sierra Vista Regional Hospital! In 2014, he became a registered nurse (RN) and started working at the same hospital.

Since then, Micheal has worked at many places, like Life Care Center of Sierra Vista, Canyon Vista Medical Center, Benson, and Copper Queen Hospital. He loves working in Acute Care, Emergency Medicine, and the ICU.

Micheal, his wife, and their three children love living here and don’t plan to move away.

He takes care of patients of all ages.

  A loving spouse and mother, Chelsey grew up in Bisbee, where she still lives. She graduated as the top student from Bisbee High School in 2013 and wants to become a nurse practitioner.

She started working as a CNA in home health care. Then, she went to Cochise College and became a registered nurse in 2017. After that, she worked in the emergency room at Canyon Vista Medical Center.

Chelsey kept learning and earned her bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University and her nurse practitioner degree from the University of Phoenix.

She is excited to care for patients from Sierra Vista and nearby areas because this is her home and family.

Emily, Dr. Wilde’s Physician Assistant, is from Ivins, Utah, but now lives in Sierra Vista and loves the desert.

She has a Biology degree from Southern Utah University and went to PA school at Midwestern University in Arizona, where she met her husband.

Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and baby boy, trying new recipes, exploring the city, and watching movies while cozy under a blanket.

She focuses on Women’s Health and is excited to be part of Wilde Desert Family Medicine. She looks forward to meeting new patients in Sierra Vista.

Nicole is a registered dietitian with special certificates in weight management and diabetes care.

She was born and grew up in Washington State and went to Washington State University, where she studied Food Science and Human Nutrition.

Nicole and her husband moved to Arizona in 2009 and have lived in Sierra Vista since 2014.

She has worked in hospitals, long-term care, and community health. Nicole loves helping her clients reach their nutrition goals, like losing weight, improving lab results, or getting healthier.

You will need a referral from your doctor or specialist to see Nicole.

Melissa is joining our practice with a strong background in psychiatry. Previously she has worked in Vail Arizona as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner where she has been able to work with patients ages 4 and up. One of her passions is Perinatal Mental Health, she is able to help both mom and baby during pregnancy, as well as through their breastfeeding and postpartum journey. She has volunteered with the Postpartum Support International. This has given her the experience of providing more information about perinatal mood disorders to other providers in the state of Arizona. 

Melissa is also able to provide in depth evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is certified in ADOS-2 administration and evaluation of the assessment. She will also be able to provide recommendations that should be implemented in a school setting. 

She will be joining our team on February 2, 2026. Insurance contracts are pending and we have not established a self pay price for her services. More information is to come. .

Residency Clinic at Wilde Desert Family Medicine

Wilde Desert Family Medicine has a special clinic for new doctors who have just finished medical school. These doctors, called residents, come here to learn more about family medicine by working with real patients.

They work side by side with our experienced doctors and medical team, who help guide and teach them. We also work with Canyon Vista Medical Center and medical schools to give them a strong learning experience.

In our clinic, residents learn how to care for people of all ages—babies, kids, parents, and grandparents. They treat many kinds of health problems, like colds, pregnancy, diabetes, and more. Everything they do is watched by a trained doctor to make sure patients get safe and high-quality care.

Our goal is to help these new doctors become great family care providers. We hope they enjoy working in Sierra Vista and decide to stay and care for our community after their training is done.
